Fantastic work from you, as ever, but with a darker, more brooding edge than I've seen from you before.

I've got to add that the colours, which should by rights be the cold, metallic glints of the machinery, are wonderfully softened by the warm tones from the other elements around the piece, from the flowers, to the insect, to the butterfly wings. Add to that the way the organic balances out the inhuman, and the living the dead, and you've got a carefully put together dichotomy that I can't help but admire...

What's been happening is due to your continuous Africa photos I had this sudden urge to go there so I took a plane and glided with style, fought with some lions, ate some antelopes, had a race with cheetahs, kicked some elephant butts and...
woke up. -_-;

I've just been busy with uni stuff, and I'd rather not talk if I have nothing to say so I left my journal alone for a while. Speak too much and thy heart empties.

People ask me why I never went to Uni, and that's pretty much the reason; I hated to be taught and to study, I didn't like the system and I liked the idea of earning money better. And I liked the fact that I could spend my day doing something useful, and the moment I left... I didn't have to worry about it until the next day, or at all over the weekend, the moment I step out of the door, that's it, forget about it ^^

It's my belief that the things you say, and how you say or don't say them, that lets people know what you're feeling when physically being there isn't possible. To put it another way, 'Though we are worlds apart, and all I can offer are words, let those words be the bridge that makes a bond of friendship.' I forget who originally said that.
